We are looking for a skilled WordPress Developer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of industry trends and content management systems. Experience with responsive and adaptive design is crucial. Additionally, an understanding of the entire web development process, including design, development, and deployment, is preferred.

  • Experience with WordPress Multisite is advantageous.

Responsible For
  • Design and implement new features and functionality on WordPress websites.
  • Establish and guide the website’s architecture, ensuring high performance and availability, and managing all technical aspects of the CMS.
  • Work closely with front-end developers and stakeholders to ensure an effective, visually appealing, and intuitive implementation.
  • Customize WordPress themes and plugins to meet project requirements.
  • Optimize website performance for maximum speed and scalability.
  • Ensure website security by implementing various security measures.
  • Provide technical support and resolve issues related to WordPress websites.
  • Stay updated on new WordPress updates, plugins, and best practices in the industry.
  • Collaborate with content teams to ensure the site content is up-to-date and leverages SEO best practices.
  • Conduct website performance tests and implement necessary changes.

Educational Requirements

  • Proven work experience as a WordPress Developer.
  • Strong understanding of front-end technologies, including HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and jQuery.
  • Experience building user interfaces for websites and/or web applications.
  • Experience designing and developing responsive design websites.
  • Comfortable working with debugging tools like Firebug, Chrome inspector, etc.
  • Ability to understand CSS changes and their ramifications to ensure consistent style across platforms and browsers.
  • Ability to convert comprehensive layout and wireframes into working WordPress pages.
  • Knowledge of how to interact with RESTful APIs and formats (JSON, XML).
  • Proficient understanding of code versioning tools (such as Git).
  • Strong understanding of PHP back-end development.
  • Familiarity with website optimization tools.
